Most patients can safely receive between 2,000 and 4,000 grafts in a single session, depending on donor density and treatment goals. Larger sessions up to 5,000–6,000 grafts may be possible for suitable candidates and has been performed at our clinic. We provide the first two hair washes after the transplant, 2PRP TREATMENTS, AND SIX MONTH SUPPLY OF COMPOUNDED LOTION, TABLETS AND SHAMPOO. In addition to a structured aftercare including daily check‑ins, in‑clinic reviews, wound care guidance, medication support, and long‑term growth monitoring. We also provide after hours support. Patients receive a detailed aftercare pack and direct access to our clinical team for any concerns. Follow‑up appointments are scheduled to ensure healing and growth progress are on track.

We recommend patients stay in Melbourne for 3–4 days after treatment to get at least their first wash and wound healing red light therapy treatment. Patients arrive in the morning, undergo design and preparation, then proceed with extraction and placement. Most patients can return to non‑physical work within 7 days for stability and protection of grafts with no hats or caps for at least one week. There may be visible redness or swelling for the first week, so some choose to take additional time for cosmetic reasons. Light walking can resume after 48 hours. Gym workouts, running, and weight training should be avoided for 10–14 days. Pre‑treatment medication is rarely required unless medically indicated. All prescriptions are provided on the day, and our team explains dosage, timing, and any precautions to ensure safe recovery. Blood thining medications should be stopped just before and after treatment to avoid bleeding.
