Our Methodology
How we collect, verify, score and publish clinic information — and why you can trust it.
Data collection
Clinics are identified through public sources — directories, search results and clinic websites — then enriched with data from Google Places (ratings, review counts and address details) and the clinic's own website. Fields include contact details, procedures, surgeons, pricing and before/after photos.
Verification & quality control
Every clinic passes through automated checks that flag common data-quality issues — wrong city, duplicate Google place ID, or duplicate website. Flagged clinics are held in draft until the issue is resolved. Each clinic is also assigned a quality score based on ten factors, including contact information, photos, pricing, surgeon details and FAQs.
How we score clinics
A clinic's completeness score reflects how much verified information is available, not how "good" the clinic is. The ten factors are: contact number, address, email, procedures offered, clinic photos, before/after photos, pricing, case prices, surgeon information, and FAQ answers. Higher scores mean more complete profiles — not a ranking of quality.
Pricing data
Advertised pricing is sourced from official clinic websites and shown in local currency with a US-dollar equivalent for comparison, normalised using published exchange rates. Patient-reported prices are kept separately and clearly labelled so you can tell official pricing from community-submitted figures.
Publishing & independence
Listings are published when they meet a completeness threshold and pass data-quality checks. We do not rank clinics by payment, and clinics cannot pay to appear higher. We are not owned by, or affiliated with, any clinic. Featured and partner listings are disclosed as such.
Editorial policy
Our guides and articles are researched and written with the aid of AI tools, then reviewed and edited by our team for accuracy and clarity. We cite the data and sources behind our claims wherever possible, and we correct errors promptly. If you spot something wrong, email support@clinicreccy.com.
